Dr. Lauren provides psychotherapy for individuals and couples, with specialized expertise in trauma treatment and fertility counseling. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a doctorate in clinical psychology from Emory University, she is a recognized leader in the field of fertility psychology.
Guided by curiosity and grounded in deep empathy, Dr. Lauren helps clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Claudia Pascale, PhD, is a psychologist specializing in reproductive mental health, infertility, perinatal and postpartum adjustment, and third-party reproduction.
She offers psychotherapy for individuals and couples, as well as psychological consultations for intended parents, evaluations for egg and sperm donors, and gestational carriers. Her expertise in fertility counseling includes helping patients navigate infertility, treatment decision-making, pregnancy loss, and the emotional impact of assisted reproductive technologies.
Claudia earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University and has devoted her career to supporting patients, families, and care teams through complex, emotionally charged family-building decisions, including 22 years as Director of Psychological Services at the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science at Barnabas Health in Livingston, New Jersey.
Dr. Pascale’s research and professional interests focus on how patients make difficult reproductive decisions, including interest in sex selection, navigating options for embryo transfer, and coping with uncertainty in treatment outcomes. She has developed particular interest in the psychological aspects of embryo disposition and complex embryo decision-making and has presented at professional organizations on these and related topics in reproductive mental health.
